Posted on 9th March 2007
It has taken a while, but finally the media industry trade magazine Broadcast has recognised the radio industry as worthy of more attention. As part of its new committment to radio they have organised 'RADIO 3.0' on May 17th in London - a look at all issues surrounding the future of radio in the UK. Alongside the Radio Academy and the Radio Centre, RIG are supporting the event. As well as featuring some high profile names from the BBC, Commercial and Independent radio sectors, there will also be a workshop aimed specifically at indies, moderated by RIG Chair Neil Gardner, joined by Jez Nelson of Somethin' Else and Andrew Caspari of BBC World Service among others.
RIG is in the process of securing discounted tickets for RIG members.
